Mclaren f1 Daniel Ricciardo: From Karting to the World Stage

In 1989, Daniel Ricciardo was born in Perth, Australia. At the age of eight, he started karting as a form of racing.

In 2006, Daniel Ricciardo took home the Formula Renault 2.0 Western Australia Championship.

For the 2007 Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup season, he relocated to Europe.

2011 saw him triumph in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series. In 2012, he made his Formula One debut with Toro Rosso.

Daniel Ricciardo joined Red Bull in 2014 and won his first competition that year. In all, he took home seven victories with Red Bull.

In 2021, he relocated to McLaren but had trouble getting used to the vehicle.

He was ruled out of the remainder of this weekend's event at the Dutch GP after breaking a bone in his hand in a crash during Friday practice.

Daniel Ricciardo could undergo surgery on his broken hand as early as Sunday and is likely to target the Singapore GP on September 17, 2023.
